This is the binary archive of VT virus killer. It is distributed as

  VTxyzK.lha

also, where xyz is the version number.

Because some link-viruses check program startups for filenames starting
with "v" or "V" it may be useful to rename VTx.yz on your private
computer. (distributed files should not be renamed) Else you may think
your system is ok, but the virus only removed itself quickly.

If you have questions, remarks, new viruses or other problems, read the
documentations first (VT_DocFiles.lha) and/or contact the author.

Das ist das Programmarchiv des VT Viruskillers. Es wird auch unter dem
Namen VTxyzK.lha vertrieben, wobei xyz fuer die Versionsnummer steht.

Da einige Linkviren inzwischen jeden Ladevorgang auf einen Filenamen
ueberwachen, der mit "v" oder "V" beginnt, waere es vielleicht sinnvoll,
VT privat (Weitergabe bitte weiterhin als VTx.yz) umzubenennen. Sonst
koennten Sie glauben, ihr System waere sauber, nur weil sich das Virusteil
schnell abgeschaltet hat.

Schauen Sie doch auch mal auf der offiziellen deutschen Homepage dieses
Programmes (http://arco.met.fu-berlin.de/~bbogic/VT/VTSchutz.html) vorbei.
